A body of a woman was found Saturday floating in the sea waters near the Pajara Park, which is located under the Marcelo Fernan Bridge in barangay Umapad, Mandaue City.
The body, taken to the Cosmopolitan Funeral Parlor, has remained unidentified as of press time.
Bystanders in the park last saw the woman Friday at 1 p.m. swimming near the park.
At around 3 p.m. of the same day, the body of the woman was found near the mouth of a water canal leading to a fishpond in the area.
Bystanders had theorized the woman must have drowned. (FREEMAN)
