CEBU, Philippines - A man wanted for the killing of his brother in-law was arrested outside his home in barangay Cambaro, Mandaue City early yesterday morning, still tipsy after a drinking binge.
Eddie Bangcale, 40, married, of sitio Batong in barangay Cambaro, was arrested by men from the Opao police station on the strength of a warrant of arrest for the crime of murder, signed by RTC Branch 56 Judge Teresita Galanida.
No bail was recommended.
Opao Police station chief, P Sr./insp Stephen Amamag-id said Bancale was drunk when arrested.
Homicide chief P/Insp. Ramil Morpos said a murder case was filed against Bangcale early this year for the alleged killing of his brother-in-law who, at the time, was arguing with his wife. The man is now detained at the Opao police station. (FREEMAN)
