CEBU, Philippines - An ex-convict is now in critical condition after getting shot by a man travelling on a motorcycle Wednesday evening in Sitio Mananga, barangay Tabunok, Talisay City.
Daniel Obiso, 29, sustaining gunshot wounds to the different parts of his body was taken to the Vicente Sotto Memorial Medical Center.
Police said Obiso was walking on the roadside when a man shot him.
SPO1 Mikie Espina and PO1 Stephen Sefuesca said Obiso was jailed for theft and illegal possession of bladed weapons.
“Kani si Daniel Obiso badlongon kaayo sa ilang lugar ug kanunay kining nalambigit sa pagpangawat apan ang mga biktima magdumili lang sa pagpasaka og kaso,” the police said.
No arrests have been made as of press time. (FREEMAN)
