CEBU, Philippines - A taxi driver has been arrested by his employer for allegedly failing to remit his rentals.
Alomar Dantis, 31, married, of sitio Bildohan in barangay Umapad Umpad, Mandaue City was arrested by Eduardo Senido, owner of E.C. Friends Taxi, the garage of which is located in barangay Pagsabungan, Mandaue City.
According to Senido, he had been looking for Dantis since November 14, the day Dantis pulled out the taxi from his garage without asking for permission from him.
But the taxi has been gone for three days and Senido started to look for it and the driver.
He said he found Dantis as well as the car parked at the Reclamation Area. He arrested and turned him over to the Investigative and Detective Management Bureau.
Dantis is now detained at the Subangdaku police station. (FREEMAN)
