CEBU, Philippines — The Cebu FC Gentle Giants will start their series of home games in Round 2 of the Philippines Football League (PFL) Season 2024-2025 against the Mendiola FC 1991 today (Saturday, February 8) at the Dynamic Herb-Borromeo Sports Complex along the South Road Properties.
Tip-off time is set at 6 p.m.
Cebu FC is eyeing a repeat performance over Mendiola, which it thrashed, 6-0, during their first-round encounter on September 29 last year.
Up next for the Gentle Giants is the National Youth Team on Wednesday, February 12.
Cebu FC whipped the Nationals, 2-0, in their previous meeting last October 6.
The Gentle Giants will take a one-week break before seeking revenge against the Manila Digger FC on February 22. Afterwhich, they will tackle Kaya FC-Iloilo on March 1.
The rest of Cebu FC’s schedule at its turf includes against Maharlika Taguig FC on March 16, vs Loyola FC on March 30, vs Stallion Laguna FC on April 5, and vs Davao Aguilas UMAK FC on April 12.
There’s a chance that Cebu FC will be hosting a total of nine home games as the Stallion may play its second match against the Gentle Giants here.
