CEBU, Philippines — Decorated Cebuano motorcycle racer Christwil Villanueva relished his great experience at the recently concluded PT Thailand Grand Prix 2024 wherein he rubbed elbows with his idol, Mission King Of The Baggers rider James Rispoli of the United States.

The 18-year-old Villanueva and Rispoli, a two-time American Motorcyclist Association (AMA) SuperSport champion, were among those who caught the eye of fans during the Harley-Davidson Masterclass Trackday at the Pattaya Bira Circuit last October 29.

Prior to that, Villanueva attended the Thai MotoGP at the Chang International Circuit in Buriram upon the invitation of his main sponsor Harley-Davidson of Cebu for him to gain exposure in an international race preparatory for his future stints abroad.

I so happy. It was a very fruitful, encouraging experience for me,  said Villanueva, who was crowned as overall champion in the 300cc category of the 2024 Petron Pirelli National Motorcycle Racing Championship at the Clark International Speedway in Mabalacat, Pampanga just weeks ago.

Aside from collecting meaningful moments, the pride of Talisay City shared that he also learned some valuable lessons that are essential both for his career advancement and personal growth.

I gained a lot of new lessons and techniques in international racing particularly on the rules and regulations to apply, Villanueva said.

I thank Lord God for giving me all these blessings, he added. To my parents especially my father (Wilson) who is beside me at all times, to my crew, and to my manager and sponsor boss Regan King of Harley-Davidson of Cebu and RDAK Powersports, I am extremely grateful for their wholehearted support.
