CEBU, Philippines — Caesar Dequita of Batch 2005 and Lorenzo Saraum of Batch 2017 topped the list of individual awardees of the 2024 St. Louis College-Cebu Alumni Basketball Tournament.
During the formal awarding ceremony in line with SLCC’s Grand Alumni Homecoming recently, Dequita was honored as the season Most Valuable Player, while Saraum took home the Finals MVP trophy.
Dequita also made it to the Mythical Five together with Friedritz Batayola and Marc Sasing of Batch 2017, Rey Judilla of Batch 1997, and Rommell Tariman of Batch 2010.
On the other hand, Hansel Camacho of Batch 2005 was feted as the Best Coach.
Aside from trophies and medals, Batch 2017 also pocketed P20,000 for emerging as champion, while Batch 2005 and Batch 1997 recieved P10,000 and P5,000 for finishing as first and second runner-up, respectively.
