BINDOY, NEGROS ORIENTAL, Philippines — A fire hit a Bible Baptish Church building at Barangay Poblacion in Bindoy town Thursday evening.
No one was hurt during the incident, and Chief Inspecor Antonio Jabar, chief of the Bindoy Police Station, said fire volunteers responded after a resident called the police about the fire that struck the church at around 11 p.m. Firefighters from the Bureau of Fire Protection later declared the fire under control, nearly an hour after.
As of press time Friday, the BFP of Bindoy was still investigating the fire that struck the church, which was administered by Pastor John Travilla. (FREEMAN)
