CFA to send 3 teams to PFF tilt

CEBU, Philippines - The Cebu Football Association is sending three teams in the Visayas leg of the 2015 PFF Festival of Football which will kick off today in San Carlos City.

CFA formed teams to compete in the boys under 12 and 14 and in the girls under 14 category.

Most of their players came from Don Bosco Technology Center, Sacred Heart School Atene de Cebu and Hijas de Cebu, University of San Carlos, Bright Academy and St. Theresa’s College.

Those who will represent Cebu in the boys under-12 competition are Adrian Bitoon, Christian Joseph D. Lumapas, Berne Cimafranca, Yoji Selman, Clouie Arreglo, Stephen John Soria,  Chevallier Franz Estillore, Joshua Paul Flores, Carl Vincent Polizon, Matthew Sebastian Suico, Uriel A. Villacarlos, Kamil Jaser Amirul, Paul Joshua Mapula, James Dominic Uy, Emmanuel  Tariman, Marc Justin Tañedo, Marque Josh Ruedas and John Michael Candongo.

The boys 14 squad are composed of Charles Clarence Unabia, Tristan Karl Enad,  JC Miguel Banzon, Dustin Rey Ramirez, Antonio Alforque Jr., Januar James Villarin, Churchill John Jubac, Frank Davis Semilla, King Emil Baclado, Paolo Gabriel Abalos, Angelo Colina,  Yushi Taka Suzuki, Lloyd Soco, Jacob Alexander Braun, Nathan Gamaliel Bajaria,  Pomeroy John Veloso, Julian Matheu Cabatingan  and Ronald Addie Bitor.

CFA’s lone girls squad are Alexandrea Gumilao, Dominique Nicole Badines, Gazleen Ybañez, Regina Echavez, Maria Monina Isabel Neri, Mary Laela Borromeo, Lea Birondo, Kay Maxine Dotillos, Thea Frances Erasmo, Arriell Passion, Arriene Shannice Poblacion, Trizza Musni, Jasmine Krystelle Luym, Ana Katrina Tiu, Terena Neri and Regina Louise Sarrosa.

The three Cebu teams will also be accompanied by CFA's Raffy N. Musni, Amable Alan Medalla and Antonio Trebol.

Cebu bets will be facing opponents coming from Iloilo City, Negros Occidental and Leyte.

This PFF tournament is part of the selection process for the formation of national youth teams that will represent the country in international tournaments.— Caecent No-ot Magsumbol (FREEMAN)
