CEBU, Philippines - After the open water swimming competition and culinary bike-on-tour, another action in the Island of Olango is set to take place as they host an ultra-marathon eco-adventure on July 6.
The event covers 50-kilometer total of action split into two loops. Gun starts at 10 pm.
This event is Cebu Ultramarathon Club's second stop for its Visayas leg tour.
Organizers had emphasized that this is not about competition, but more of bonding with fellow runners and give the residents of Olango a glimpse of what ultra-marathon is all about that they can also excel in.
After completing the 50-km action, participants will also have a feeding program for children of Olango. They are also expected to bring at least an extra singlet each that will be given away as a souvenir to the locals.
Aside from that, participants can also rent bicycles and go around the bird sanctuary after the activity.
This event is fully-supported by the City government of Lapu-lapu under Mayor Paz Radaza.
