CEBU, Philippines - The First Family Appliance Circle '96 easily slammed Fil-Ann 2009, 43-29, to stretch its unbeaten streak to nine in the Cebu Eastern College Alumni Basketball Association's 12th Dr. Chen Lieh Fu Memorial Cup last Thursday night at the City Sports Club-Cebu gym.
Shaun Christopher Wang had 17 points and 14 rebounds and Dreyfuss Ang added 11 points on top of eight rebounds, a league-record eight steals and six assists for Class '96, which pounded the hapless Class 2009 quarter after quarter to come up with a masterful 14-point demolition.
Alfie Dwight Miranda Sy had 15 points and three rebounds but could not do anything to prevent Class 2009 from absorbing its seventh loss against only one win.
