CEBU, Philippines — The Abellana Police Station of the Cebu City Police Office (CCPO) said they have now identified four suspects in last week’s shooting death of a 17-year-old minor in Urgello Street, Barangay Sambag 1, Cebu City.

According to Police Major Mark Don Alfred Leanza, chief of the Abellana Police Station, the four suspects were on a motorcycle and the driver was the one who shot the victim.

“Upat sa usa ka motor unya ang shooter katong nag-drive g’yud,” he said.

They are set to take affidavits from the witnesses to the incident so that they can file the case against the suspects.

Leanza said he cannot yet divulge details regarding the motive behind the incident because their investigation is still ongoing, but one of the things they determined is that the suspects have a grudge against the victim.

The suspects are said to be from Cebu City.

It was also learned that another 17-year-old who was wounded in the same shooting incident is now in safe condition. — (FREEMAN)
