CEBU, Philippines — Law enforcement authorities arrested Friday night a high value individual from Carcar City, Cebu during a buy-bust operation on G. Gaisano Street, Brgy. Tejero, Cebu City.
The PNP Drug Enforcement Group-Special Operations Unit-7 and the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency PDEA)-7 identified him as John Rae Tapere, 32, of Katugasan, Brgy. Perrelos, Carcar City.
Tapere allegedly yielded 100 grams of suspected shabu worth P680,000 during the operation.
Authorities said Tapere was placed under a three-week surveillance prior to his arrest after receiving information that he was involved in the selling of illegal drugs, which he allegedly gets from Brgy Duljo Fatima.
Tapere can allegedly dispose a kilo of illegal drugs every month in Carcar City. — (FREEMAN)
