The suspects were identified as Jason “Jojo” Secretaria, of Kamagayan, Carcar City, and Jonathan Jerome Pañares, of Poblacion, Barili town. The police estimated P677,000 worth of illegal drugs seized from the suspects.
Secretaria, who is said to be a level 2 drug pusher, was first arrested Tuesday afternoon in Carcar City after he sold a pack of shabu to an undercover policeman. Five medium packs and 18 small packs of shabu were subsequently seized from him following his arrest.
According to the police, Secretaria was placed under surveillance for two weeks after receiving information about his illegal activities.
During interrogation, Secretaria admitted to the police that he gets his drug supply from Pañares.
RAIDSOTG disco-vered from Secretaria’s phone that he was supposed to meet with Pañares later that day for another drug deli-very. Using Secretaria’s phone, the police arranged the meeting at the Cebu South Bus Terminal.
A police decoy met with Pañares supposedly to get the order of Secretaria resulting in his arrest at past 10 p.m. Tuesday. Confiscated from Pañares was P500,000 worth of illegal drugs.
