CEBU, Philippines - The Cebu Provincial Anti-Drug Abuse Commission extended P350,000 to different police stations in component cities and municipalities of the province to fund their anti-drug operations.
CPADAC co-chair Ivy Durano-Meca said the amount is being utilized for operation expenses in support to the program of the Police Regional Office-7 dubbed as “Segunda Limpyo Probinsya,” which CPADAC also adopted in collaboration with the Cebu Provincial Police Office.
“Ang ato gyod is we really want to intensify drug campaign and simultaneous ang dakop for the whole province. That’s our intention for having that (program). CPADAC, being the lead agency in anti-illegal drugs, we came in to support our police,” Meca said.

A week before August 18, police stations in different municipalities were asked to come up with a watchlist of drug personalities in their jurisdictions.
Meca said the police stations were also directed to have at least two successful anti-drug operations every week involving their targets.
