Radaza’s daughter, brother not in SALN

CEBU, Philippines - City councilor Queenie Ammann is the richest official of the Lapu-Lapu City, based on her Statement of Assets, Liabilities and Net Worth submitted before the Office of the Ombudsman-Visayas.

Ammann has a net worth of P18.2 million as of December 31, 2012. Net worth or actual wealth is a computation on one’s total assets minus their total liabilities.

She declared P17 million real properties composed of lots and house and lot she purchased in 1990 and 1995 and P2 million personal properties including Zuzuki ADV van, appliances, furniture, and bank deposit.

Ammann has P799,000 liabilities. She declared Talima Beach Villas in Talima, Olango Island as her business interest.

Her sister-in-law Victoria Malingin is the only relative of her working in the government.

Ammann is followed by Mayor Paz Radaza with P14.7 million net worth. Radaza’s net worth decreased by P3.2 million as of 2013. In 2012, she has a net worth of P17.9 million.

Radaza declared P3.1 million real properties composed of two commercial land and buildings and her personal properties amounted to P11.8 million. She declared no liability.

Radaza  listed City Councilor Harry Don Radaza, her nephew, and her sister Ida Rago, Commissioner on Tourism, as her only relatives in government.

The mayor did not include her daughter, Rep. Aileen Radaza, and brother Mayor Augusto Corro of Daanbantayan, in the list of relatives working in government.

Government officials are mandated under the Republic Act 6713 or the Code of Conduct and Ethical Standards for Public Officials and Employees to disclose all public and private interests.

City councilor Florito Pozon is the third richest official with his P10.8 million net worth. His real properties include residential lots, agricultural lot, and commercial building worth P10.1 million while his personal properties amounted to P1.8 million. He has P2 million liabilities.

City Councilor Efren Herrera has P7 million net worth. His total assets composed of real and personal properties are worth P7.6 million. He declared a liability of P588,633.

City Councilor Harry Don Radaza has P7 million net worth without liabilities. Councilor Alexander Gutupa declared P5.9 million net worth. Councilor Elias Berdin, P5.6 million; Melissa Vidal, P5.1 million; Roque Wagwag, P2 million; Vice Mayor Marcial Ycong, P1.4 million; Councilor Eduardo Cuizon, P800,532.90; Councilor Francisco Senerpida, P201,624.98, and Councilor Leo Mercado is the poorest among the city officials with only P24,000 net worth.
