CEBU, Philippines - Two women were arrested for possession and selling of illegal drugs in a buy bust operation in F. Ralota Street, Poblacion, Danao City last Saturday afternoon.
Analie Mata, 33, and Arcelie Erfe, 38, were apprehended by operatives of the Anti-Illegal Drugs Special Task Operations Task Group and the Special Weapons and Tactics team of the Danao City Police.
Mata was arrested around 12:30 p.m. after receiving the P500 marked money from a poseur-buyer.
The police recovered 32 small packs of suspected shabu from Mata’s coin purse and P800 cash believed to be proceeds of her illegal activities.
They also confiscated nine small plastic sachets of suspected shabu from Erfe who was believed to be Mata’s cohort.
The police conducted the bust after they received information about’s Mata’s alleged illegal drugs activities in the area.
Mata and Erfe will face charges for violation of Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act. The items seized were forwarded to the PNP Crime Laboratory for chemical analysis. (FREEMAN)
