CEBU, Philippines - The city government is set to open a one-stop shop at Cebu IT Park to cater the general public who may acquire business permits and job requirements.

This was after the Cebu City council has authorized Mayor Michael Rama to enter into and sign the deed of donation between the Cebu Property Ventures and Development Corporation.

The measure was proposed by councilors Nida Cabrera and Roberto Cabarrubias.

The corporation owns and operates the 70 square meters office space at 7th floor of Cebu Holdings Center,  Cebu IT Park, which will be donated and be utilized as one-stop shop, through the city’s Information and Communication Technology/Business Processing Outsourcing Council in cooperation with different agencies.

The space is approximately P44 thousand per month, corresponding to the list rental rate published by the corporation.

The one-stop shop will be serving the locators of the Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) hub, its clients and employees, as well as the general public who may obtain permits and other business or job requirements from PhilHealth, Pag-Ibig Fund, SSS and other agencies.

Emilio Tumbocon, CPVDC chair of  the executive committee, said “the use and occupancy shall be granted by the corporation as a donation to the city government.” (FREEMAN)
