“Horror Booth sa Balamban” to attract more tourists

CEBU, Philippines - In time for the upcoming Halloween, Cebu Normal University (CNU) in Balamban hopes to attract local tourists through its first ever “Horror Booth sa Balamban” on October 29 to November 2.

CNU Balamban is working together with its official student publication, The Vox, and the Advocate Students for Progress (ASAP) organization.

John Vincent Estoce, president of the Horror Booth sa Balamban Org., said the project is a unique way to observe Halloween.

“This is designed to attract local tourists from the neighboring towns and within the entire Cebu Province. It also aims to provide remarkable experience to visitors and tourists who will be partaking in the week-long event,” said Estoce.

He said the proceeds of the event will benefit the student organizations of the school including the school choir, The Vox and ASAP, the dance troupe, and athletes of the school for the purchase of their equipments.

The “Horror Booth sa Balamban” will be open from 1 pm to 12 am at the Balamban Sports Complex in Balamban.— /ATO (FREEMAN)
