CEBU, Philippines - More than 150 stall holders, drivers, conductors, vendors, and bus operators at the Cebu South Bus Terminal have sought for the replacement of CSBT administrator Vicente Dejoras Jr.
The group submitted a petition to Gov. Hilario Davide III alleging that Dejoras committed conduct unbecoming a government official and gross abuse in the exercise of discretion.
They alleged that Dejoras would easily burst into anger and has unreasonable attitude.
He allegedly uses vulgar language and would shout at those persons below his status.
"He has no regard for his decency and respect towards the petitioners and makes himself visible and showy of his position," the petitioners said in their petition.
"He looks down at most of the petitioners as if he is the lord of the premises even for minor oversight of existing policies, rules and regulations," they said.
They also alleged that Dejoras is not effective in explaining the policies of the terminal and "he makes his own whimsical opinions and rules."
"Wherefore, herein petitioners reiterate their prayers to replace Mr. Vicente Dejoras Jr. as administrator of the Cebu South Bus Terminal and finally pray for the replacement of another officer who is more humane, soft spoken and at least decent and formal in language and dealings to people like the herein petitioners," they said.
They also assured of smooth and harmonious relationship with the new terminal administrator.
The FREEMAN tried to contact Dejoras for his comment last night but he could not be reached for comment. (FREEMAN)
