It was a glittering Diwali festivity at Marco Polo Plaza as the hotel celebrated the Festival of Lights with “Khana: A celebration of Indian Cuisine” from October 25 to 28 at its buffet restaurant, Café Marco.
Traditional Indian dishes spiced up Café Marco’s international buffet spread specially prepared by this year’s guest chef, Indian National Chef Singh Amar, from Marco Polo Hongkong Hotel. Chef Singh together with Café Marco’s culinary team created authentic Indian dishes for this culinary journey, including his signature dishes tandoori chicken, seekh kebab, gulab jamon and more!
The launch of this multi-sensory feast of colors and flavors of India was attended by the city’s media, influencers and friends from the local Indian community. The lighting of the brass lamp by the hotel’s resident nanager Michaela Priesner, TMX Philippines Incorporated’s Santhana Krishnan Vaidiswaran, Ms. Judeline Murjani, and Chef Singh Amar gestured the start of the culinary journey accompanied by the festive dance from Mactan Dynamic Dancers.
