CEBU, Philippines – Partygoers were treated to one epic dance and music experience at the Electro Island
Beach Party, at the Ibiza Beach Club of Mövenpick Hotel Mactan Island Cebu. Tourists and locals partied from sundown to late night. With music and drinks aplenty, the event space started to get filled to the brim as early as 4 p.m., with guests coming in their resort wear, all ready to groove.
The tunes were provided by guest celebrity DJs from Japan, top-billed by DJ Daiki Wakabayashi. The other DJs on deck – such as Kamiyama Seigo, Tora, Toshiki, Red Bully and Hiroro and Future Boyz – showcased high octane beats, as well. The Ibiza show team also staged some of their daring fire exhibitions that thrilled the crowd and added excitement to the evening, which ended with a colorful fireworks display.
“Ibiza Beach Club, being a premier nightspot in this side of the country, offers travellers a unique dining and entertainment experience,” shared Jeryl Tio, the hotel’s Food and Beverage manager. “Also, as it is named after the party capital of the world, we want Ibiza Beach Club to be a trailblazer on trends, performance genres and flavors, by bringing in new excitement in various seasons, to delight our guests of different nationalities.”
“This event is actually the fifth of our beach party series and definitely not the last one,” added Paco Beltran, Ibiza Beach Club’s director for Entertainment and Events. “We’re very happy to see a good mix of locals and international guests. This event again drew attention to Mactan Island as a party and leisure destination in Cebu.”
The Electro Island Beach Party was hosted by Mövenpick Hotel Mactan Island Cebu, in partnership with Cebu.20z, Cebu Pot and United Regrowth. The event sponsors were Manny O. Wines, Red Bull, Bacardi, Belvedere, Moet & Chandon Ice, Wine Warehouse, Globe Telecom, Dragon Fireworks, Y101 FM and The Freeman.
