CEBU, Philippines - The 30th Cornelio Faigao Memorial Annual Writers Workshop in Drama & Performance presents its first staged play reading series entitled "Snapshots," featuring seven original short plays, all outputs from the workshop run earlier by New York City visiting playwright Linda Faigo-Hall.
The featured plays are "Katapusang Pagbalik" by Msgr. Agustin Ancajas, "Door" by Manuel Avenido Jr., "Analikaw" by Jay Gerson, "Disney X" by Emmanuel Jones Mante, "Joke Lang!" by April Anne Moncada, "The World is an Oyster" by Haidee Palapar, and "Please Stay" by Mark Jude Tenedero.
"Snapshots" is directed by Msgr. Agustin Ancajas, Archie Modequillo, and Delia Aliño Villacastin. It is scheduled for Saturday, June 28 and Sunday, June 29, at 7 p.m. at the San Carlos Seminary College, Juan Luna Ave., Mabolo. Admission is free.
