Take a course in Real Estate Management at the University of Cebu

CEBU, Philippines - Real estate remains to be one of the most lucrative industries in the country. And while Cebu continues to enjoy a booming economy and the ASEAN integration taking place soon, the possibilities in real estate are endless with the promise of a rewarding career. Career paths include real estate broker, entrepreneur, management trainee, executive assistance, sales person broker, real estate marketing assistance, and account personnel, among others.

Whereas before anyone who has taken a seminar on real estate brokering can apply for a professional real estate broker's license, now with Republic Act 9646 or the Real Estate Service Act of the Philippines, starting 2016 only the graduates of Bachelor of Science in Real Estate Management (BS REM) can take the Real Estate Brokers' Exam.  The Professional Regulation Commission will administer the real estate board exam for three licenses, namely;  Real Estate Broker, Real Estate Appraiser and Real Estate Consultant to this first batch of BS REM graduates

The University of Cebu is one of the pioneers to offer BS REM and is among the participating schools that shall produce the first set of BS REM graduates in 2016.  And given the future industry demand, the university has prepared a program that will provide the students a solid grasp of the real estate industry and how it operates, its laws and regulations, as well as planning, financing, investment, marketing, and development.
