The Ocean Pavilion of Shangri-La’s Mactan Resort & Spa was the beautiful and romantic setting of the beautiful wedding of Michael Remedio and Carren Cuizon who came all the way from the USA to tie the matrimonial knot with Pastor Winneth Batucan officiating the marriage ceremony.
Carren was oh-so-pretty in her Cary Santiago wedding gown – simple yet so elegant! Michael was in a dark suit. Her parents, Luis and Virginia Cuizon, gave her away in marriage while Michael’s parents, Melanio and Mario Luisa Remedio, were in happy attendance as the ceremony was going on.
The principal sponsors were: Ahoy and Belinda Wong, Henie and Sarah Navarro, Augusto and Carmen Andrada, Guilbert and Cherelina Purcia, Mr. Clark Jueco and Ms. Prisca Nina Mabatid, Mr. Arthur Dulcero and Ms. Josephine Ng, Atty. Felino Garlitos and Mrs. Virgie Garlitos, Chris and Mila Bongcao Vano. The groomsmen were: Greg Mediana, John Phillip Remedio, Roland Ian Remedio, John Edrian Lomoljo and Alison Altomia. The bridesmaids were: Stephanie Anne Orlanes, Odil Faye Pepito, Katrina Marie Dicdican, Rachel Laya-og and Vanessa Mae Orog.
The secondary sponsors were: Emmanuel and Ann Marie Cuizon – candle; Willie and Aimee Nathan – veil; Jerome and Christela Purog – cord. Mast. Seann Juree Cuizon, ring bearer; Mast. Connor Gabriel Nathan – coin bearer; Mast. Seth Jakob Purog, Bible bearer. Flower girls – Ysabelle Louise Wong and Christabelle Lorraine Wong.
Immediately after the wedding ceremony, drinks and appreciation followed at the Marquee Ballroom of Shangri-La Hotel. A few days after the wedding, the new Mr. & Mrs. Michael Remedio left for Tennessee where the two lovebirds will make their home.
