CEBU, Philippines – Someone got a ring for Christmas! And another a “yes” for his birthday!
After just six months of dating, Joe Manganiello popped the question to Sofia Vergara in Hawaii on Christmas Day. In addition to getting engaged, the “Modern Family” actress, 42, and “Magic Mike” hunk have also been celebrating Manganiello’s birthday on their tropical getaway. He turned 38 on December 28.
While the gorgeous couple has yet to comment on their engagement, the 42-year-old Colombian beauty was spotted kissing her fiancé with a beautiful and big diamond rock on her ring finger.
“I’ve never seen two people so truly in love,” a source says of the engaged lovebirds. “The way they talk to each other, touch each other. It’s incredible.”
Since coupling up, the good-looking duo has not only been making headlines for their attractive appearance, but also for their whirlwind romance, as the two quickly became quite serious following the end of Vergara’s engagement to former fiancé Nick Loeb.
The “True Blood” hunk had previously named the ABC actress his celebrity crush. “I had forgotten I had said that,” Manganiello told Ryan Seacrest in August of his past admission to People magazine. “And when the magazine came out, by that time, we were seeing each other and when I got the magazine and opened it up and read it, I forgot I said that. I started laughing.”
As for Vergara’s response? “She was laughing at me,” he revealed. “She thought that I was crazy for having said that out loud or said it in the magazine, but you know, I guess it worked.”
