CEBU, Philippines – Out of 86 Earth ambassadresses from around the globe, Miss Philippines Earth and Miss MyPhone Awardee Jamie Herrell was crowned as Miss Earth 2014 last November 29 at the U.P. Theater Diliman, Quezon City.
The three other crowns were bagged by Miss Russia Anastasia Trysova, Miss Venezuela Maira Alexandra Rodriguez, and Miss USA Andrea Neu for the Miss Fire, Water, and Air, respectively.
The pageant, which is known to be the most prestigious and relevant beauty pageant in the world, had been working hand-in-hand with MyPhone in promotingthe protection of Mother Earth for years now.
As one of the pageant’s partners, MyPhone awarded prizes to the winning candidate, as well as a special Miss MyPhone award which was won by Herrell herself. MyPhone also powered the official social media feeds of Ms. Earth’s official accounts on Facebook and Instagram by providing mobile units that were proven reliable during their tours.
