CEBU, Philippines - Actor Jason Abalos feels flattered whenever he receives hate messages from viewers due to his controversial role as Victor in “Two Wives,” in which he co-stars with Kaye Abad (Yvonne) and Erich Gonzales (Janine).
“I always get cursed at by men and women on Twitter. Of course, I don’t get offended. That only means my portrayal and the show are effective,” shares Jason.
Meanwhile, the scenes in “Two Wives” get more exciting and thrilling every weeknight. Victor has completely fallen out of love with his wife Yvonne, and started living with his mistress Janine. He is even determined to stand up for their forbidden romance as he seeks to end his marriage with Yvonne by filing for annulment.
Will Yvonne remain true to her decision that she will not sign Victor’s petition for annulment? How will Yvonne take revenge against the man whom he entrusted her heart with?
In yesterday’s episode, Janine got a taste of Yvonne’s wrath as the much-awaited catfight sparked between them.
“Two Wives” has captivated more viewers nationwide as it hit its all-time high national TV rating of 23.4% last Friday (November 7) based on data from Kantar Media. It rated more than 14 points higher than its rival show in GMA-7, “Ilustrado,” which only scored 9.2% on the said day.
