CEBU, Philippines – Ariana Grande is once again shooting down reports she’s a diva.
In the latest issue of InStyle magazine, the 21-year-old “Break Free” singer says any claims that she’s hard to work with or ungrateful are “fictional.”
In response to a report she once said she hoped her fans “die,” Grande told the magazine, “That one had me laughing hysterically. Because anyone who knows me or has done any homework at all knows that I would literally give a limb for my fans.”
As for her mega-success, Grande admits “some things are easier now, and others are harder.”
“I never expected to be in a position where so many people are invested in every little thing I say and do,” she said of the constant attention on her personal life, adding of constant tabloid rumors, “Part of me wants to say, ‘Oh my god, that’s so not me! Please don’t believe that!’”
Speaking of her personal life, Grande recently went public with her relationship with rapper Big Sean by telling the Telegraph, “He is one of the most amazing men in the world, and that includes my grandfather and my brother.”
“I have conflicting feelings about it,” Grande said of her decision to share her romance with fans. “On the one hand, I feel like I’m growing up and realize my life is my life and some things don’t need to be shared. But I’m very spur-of-the-moment, very open with my fans. And if there’s a cute picture I like that’s a little personal and I want to share it, maybe I will.”
