CEBU, Philippines - Calling all professionals, amateurs and first-timers: You are just a song away from reaching your dreams.
RisingStars, in cooperation with SM Supermalls, takes its online singing contest live at SM City Cebu with great prizes totaling P43,000 of SM gift certificates, plus the chance for the best to perform live on the Sept. 27 semi-finals at the SM City Cebu Event Centre and be seen on TV.
Participants will also get the once in a lifetime opportunity for everyone to get his or her RisingStars studio recording now for free. The RisingStars recording station is located at the SM City Cebu food court entrance at the mall’s lower ground floor. One must be at least 13 years old to enter the competition; parental consent is needed for those who are under 18 year old.
How can one win for those who will sing online? By singing your best on the RisingStars website, sharing your performance on your Facebook and collecting votes from your friends, relatives, other RisingStars users and FB Friends.
A distinguished panel of jurors will review all entries, and will select performances which are considered very good or outstanding by the jury (number of votes will not be considered during this selection). Those who were selected by the jury will receive a “Jury selected†blue badge on their performances. From among the selected performances, the jury will chose the one they consider best at the end of a preliminary round.
