CEBU, Philippines - The Cebu Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCCI) will officially sign its sisterhood agreement with Metro Naga Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MNCCI) in Bicol region during the 26th Visayas Area Business Conference (VABC).
CCCI president Melanie Ng said that the sisterhood pact signifies the chamber's aggressive stance to connect with local and foreign business organizations to strengthen its grip competitive business environment.
Last year, during the 25th VABC held in Ormoc City, CCCI also signed a sisterhood agreement with the Ormoc City Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
Meanwhile, as CCCI is expanding its network domestically, it is also simultaneously spreading its connection with international business groups.
In June this year, CCCI renewed its sisterhood agreement with the Israel Chamber of Commerce in the Philippines
CCCI already has existing sisterhood agreements with international chambers, specifically within the ASEAN.
CCCI already officially inked a sisterhood deal with Malaysia, Indonesia and Thailand.
It also aims to re-connect with its sister chambers in different countries.
Recent alliances with business chambers include countries like Singapore, Indonesia, Laos, China, Thailand, Japan, Australia, Korea, Vietnam, among other member states of ASEAN bloc. (FREEMAN)
