CEBU, Philippines - With its aim to empower the Philippine workforce through continued quality education among working professionals, AGF Consulting Group shall organize a series of capability-building seminar workshops in Cebu for the month of November.
MasterClass, the public training arm of the training and consulting company, has lined up three successive seminars about issues on effective resolution on workplace conflicts, effective employee performance management system and credit collection.
One-day training will be scheduled on November 21 for a “highly-interactive†training workshop on turning conflicts and complaints into compliments.
According to AGF Consulting Group – Philippines chief executive officer Jong Fernandez, it shall teach the participants on how to handle and resolve conflict in the most positive and productive manner and promoting a harmonious workplace environment.
It shall involve the identification of common causes of conflicts in the workplace, proper handling of workplace diversity and individual differences through effective conflict management, strategies to effectively avoid escalation of conflict in the workplace and demonstration of techniques and tools to show empathy and rapport during conflict situations.
It will also orient attendees on the effective communication skills for speedy conflict resolution, dealing with different kinds of customer complaints and handling stress efficiently.
On November 22, a seminar-workshop on how to develop an effective employee performance management system will be held.
AGF Consulting Group stressed the need for business organizations to create strategies to influence and channel the behaviors of their employees in order to optimize their contributions towards the achievement of organizational goals and objectives.
Through effective performance management system and coaching, frontline managers and supervisors could inspire and motivate their staff to attain organizational success.
The one-day training program shall tackle on topics about successful performance management, requirements for the successful implementation of a performance management system, the role of managers and employees, performance coaching and mentoring program, development of individual skills practice, value of team constructive feedback, identification of areas for improvement and appreciation on the overall team rating.
AGF Consulting Group also encourages credit and collection managers, supervisors, credit investigators, salesmen, collectors, credit evaluators, teachers and credit and collection practitioners to participate on the two-day training activity to improve their credit evaluation and extension processes for lesser bad debts and better collections. It will be conducted on November 27 to 28.
Erdulfo Sison, president and chief executive officer of Business Assistance Credit Corporation, shall serve as the resource speaker for the two-day training program. He is also the author of the four editions of the “No-Nonsense Credit & Collection Discipline Power.â€
The first day of the seminar will focus on checking, evaluation for impeccable creditworthiness and mathematics of credit and collection operation.
Sison will discuss the credit investigation and evaluation process, elements and basis of credit, financial and non-financial factors of credit applicants, credit equation and financial measures to gauge sales, credit and collection operation.
On the second day of the workshop, matters on no-nonsense credit of delinquent, distressed and bad accounts will be tackled for better liquidity.
It shall highlight collection strategies that are proven and doable in effectively collecting bad debts and dealing with angry debtors.
Sison will also talk about topics on no-nonsense credit and collection paradigms, collection operation, delinquent and distressed accounts management, judicial collection efforts, and property checking.
All of the three seminar-workshops to be organized by MasterClass of AGF Consulting Group on the month of November shall be held at Quest Hotel in Archbishop Reyes Avenue, Cebu City. /JMD (FREEMAN)
