CEBU, Philippines - An events management company is outlining for the month of October its learning sessions geared towards personality and professional development through abiding business and social protocol as well as power dressing and style for professionals from both genders.
Ariva Events Management, Inc. - Cebu will conduct its morning and afternoon sessions on the development of professional business image at the Waterfront Cebu City Hotel and Casino on October 11.
The first session, with image consultant Abbygale Arenas-de Leon as resource speaker, will focus on business and social protocol.
It aims to train employees and the management team of the company to present themselves in accordance with the latter’s products and organizational goals so as to create the "right impression" on potential customers.
It will also tackle about workplace and dining etiquette, significance of first impression and how to make it the right one, understanding the importance of body language, business outfit check list and social manners.
Meanwhile, Arenas-de Leon, who is also a corporate trainer and facilitator, will discuss about power dressing and style for men and women during the afternoon session.
The second session aims to orient working professionals on the two types of business attire, six classifications of casual attire, do’s and don’ts in accessorizing, wardrobe tips and tricks, basic cut and color, proper fitting and choosing the proper undergarments.
It is intended to help employees be empowered through wearing the proper outfit since as Arenas-de Leon said, success in business could be associated with the image and presentation of the employee and the entrepreneur.
