MANILA, Philippines — Unstoppable.

That’s how College of St. Benilde, a three-peat-seeking machine, appeared after it got its magnificent and historic streak going with a 25-11, 25-21, 25-22 victory over San Beda in yesterday’s NCAA Season 99 women’s volleyball at the Filoil EcoOil Arena.

It was the second win in a row as the Lady Blazers stayed on top, and 31st straight counting a seven-game win streak before the league was  halted by the pandemic.

The proud school then went on to sweep Seasons 97 and 98 in 11 games apiece before opening this year with a 25-15, 25-14, 25-23 triumph over Emilio Aguinaldo College in Sunday’s inaugurals.

Against San Beda, CSB won’t let its championship-churning, victory-producing juggernaut end.

Mycah Go, CSB’s former captain and Season 98 MVP who is slowly but surely coming into full strength, said the key was mindset thinking that there was no streak.

“Our mindset is always playing like we’re back to zero,” said Go, who chipped in two hits on this one.

Michelle Gamit and Wielyn Estoque each unloaded 13 points while playing just around two sets.
