MANILA, Philippines — After a tough campaign that started last August, more than 40 qualifiers from the Luzon Gamecock Breeders Association (LGBA) reached the final round of the PFGB Digmaan 11-Stag National Derby at the Pasay City Cockpit on Dec. 13.
LGBA president Nick Crisostomo said the qualifiers for Friday’s 4-stag finals, supported by Sagupaan Superfeeds and Complexor 3000, are those who scored four, 4.5, 5, 5.5 and six points.
Qualifiers with 6.5 and seven points will compete on Dec. 16 at the Manila Arena.
Among the participants on Friday, who availed of the Digmaan piggy bank scheme via the Luzon Breeders Cup, are Patrick Antonio, James Uy, Nestor Vendivil, Eric Calivoso, Jun Lovendino, Francis Guevarra, Boy Tanyag, Hector Magpantay, Mapher Alvarez, Ramir Navas, Kenneth Liao, Rep. Pol Dy, Jervy Maglunob, Noel Cosico and Arnold dela Cruz.
Meanwhile, the LGBA Staff 4-Stag Derby comes next at the Pasay Cockpit on Dec. 16.
