MANILA, Philippines — Outstanding cocker Richard Perez is hosting the NCA derby April 9 at the Ynares Multipurpose Building in Pasig.
Perez said invited guests who will be in the fray with NCA members are Gov. Eddiebong Plaza, Gerry Ramos, RJ Mea, lawyer Henry Tuban, Col. Ortega, Teody Evangelista, Pipo Soliman,Tokwing Bros., Darwin Lingad, Jojo Cruz, Arvin Manguiat, Jansoy Lee and two additional entries from Atong Ang.
The next two derbies this April will be on April 23, to be hosted by Patrick Antonio and Tirso “Jepoy” Judan and on April 30, with Ang and Harold Ramos as hosts.
The April derbies will be a big factor in the selection of the top 10 contenders for the cocker of the year award.
Leading the list are Jade Red (45 points), Bluemax Roan (43), Agbiag Sagupaan (36), Jimafer (35), Camsur Ahluck (34 1/2), Barkadahan (34), 114 RT (34), CPB/BPC (33), PS Hot City (32), Camsur Jam (31), JTC Kaingin (31), Sinag (31) and April 14 sa Calasiao (29).
