MANILA, Philippines – If his stint with Mighty Sports goes well, Filipino fans might be seeing more of two-time NBA champion Lamar Odom.

Odom, fresh from a five-year long hiatus from the sport, will be suiting up for the Philippines in the Dubai International Basketball Tournament this February and according to the former Laker, this may not be a one-time thing.

"If it goes good here, I can see myself maybe playing basketball here," the 39-year-old said during a press conference.

Depending on his team's performance in the Dubai International Basketball Tournament this February, Odom is very much open to bringing his talents to the Philippine basketball scene.

Sheryl Reyes, Odom's agent, said that it's a no-brainer to want Odom in the PBA or Alab Pilipinas. The former NBA Sixth Man of the Year even entertained the idea of becoming naturalized to play for Gilas Pilipinas.

However, it would all depend on his schedule as Odom is set to head for the BIG3 league after his Mighty Sports stint.

While Odom continuing his career in the Philippines is still uncertain, he seems to be enjoying himself in Fillpino soil so far.

"I like it [here] and I like that they love basketball" he said of Filipinos.

The Dubai International Basketball Tournament is set to begin on February 1.
