MANILA, Philippines — Alaska Milk has acquired the services of legitimate NBA player Mike Harris to complete an explosive mix of imports slugging it out in the PBA Governors Cup beginning Friday at the Ynares Sports Center in Antipolo.

Harris, a five-year NBA veteran with stints with Houston, Washington and Utah, is one of only three newcomers out to show their wares against tested PBA imports, including Best Import winners Justin Brownlee, Allen Durham and AZ Reid.

GlobalPort’s Rashad Woods and Columbian Dyip’s Akeem Wright are the two other new faces in the season-ending tourney where the Brownlee-led Barangay Ginebra Kings are chasing a three-peat feat.

Durham, the Best Import winner in the tourney in 2016 and 2017, will have another tour of duty with the Meralco Bolts, and they hope to finally finish on top after back-to-back runner-up finishes.
