Bloemen Cup draws huge field

MANILA, Philippines – One hundred thirty players are expected to see action in the 24th Br. Alphosus Bloemen Golf Cup, which gets going Tuesday at Wack Wack Golf and Country Club’s West Course in Mandaluyong.

The annual event, organized by the La Salle Green Hills Alumni Association (LSGHAA), serves as a fund-raising event of the LSGHAA for the benefit of the LSGH Adult Night High School Scholarship Fund, the educational program that gives free La Salle-quality schooling to less fortunate adults. The school has graduated over 11,000 the past 23 years.

Trophies, raffle items, door prizes, fun awards and giveaways will be up for grabs in the event featuring Classes A, B, C, Seniors, Friends/Guests divisions and Batch Championship.

Drink sponsor is San Miguel Beer along with Emperador Distillers with its Smirnoff Mule, Carlo Rossi wines, Pik Nik, Emperador Brandy and Andy Player whisky during the fellowship and awards rites.
