The Philippine Mavericks found themselves on the losing side against a determined Japan Warriors, getting dominated 15-29, at the start of the International Premier Tennis League’s final leg in Singapore on Friday.
The duo of Edouard Roger-Vasselin and Treat Huey turned out to be the lone bright spot for the Mavericks, escaping the tandem of Pierre-Hugues Herbert and Leander Paes, 6-5, to win the only set for their squad.
