Fil-Am Taylor Statham led the charge for the Tamaraws with 16 points even as former two-time PBA MVP Willie Miller added 13 points and eight assists.
Fly Dragons, on the other hand, was led by Tolits Natividad who netted 21 points and Mon Mabayo who chipped in 16 for the game.
In the other game, Philippine Christian University snared its second win in as many games by thrashing Austen Morris Associates, 88-68. Mike Ayonayon scored a game-high 32 markers for the PCU Dolphins and Vaughn Canta scored 10 points for the losing team.
