CHANGSHA – Ranidel de Ocampo and Abdulaziz Alhamidi resolved their difference before the Kuwait team flew out of this Hunan Province capital city Thursday.

At the mess hall in their hotel, De Ocampo took the initiative, approaching Alhamidi and offering a handshake that the Kuwaiti player accepted.

Both let bygones be bygones.

The Gilas-Kuwait tiff Sunday was about to windup when the game was marred by an incident between De Ocampo and Alhamidi.

Hit between the legs, De Ocampo, in the ensuing play, struck back, causing Alhamidi a bloodied kisser.

Alhamidi then went wild, and hurled a bottled water at the officials table when he he’d been thrown out of the game. For that, he was banned from playing all their succeeding games.

In the hotel the following day, Alhamidi was still unappeased.

But De Ocampo and Alhamidi buried the hatchet in the end.
