(UPDATED) MANILA, Philippines – Let the hype begin.
Manny Pacquiao isn’t known to talk smack against his opponents, so some observers started hyping his super fight with Floyd Mayweather Jr. in a not-so-subtle way.
The World Boxing Organization, whose welterweight championship belongs to Pacquiao, posted in its Twitter account a photo of the fighting congressman purportedly wearing an interesting shirt in training.
What do you think about WBO Champion Manny's t-shirt? Do you like his chances against Mayweather on May 2? pic.twitter.com/lnYUdOebBF

The shirt, in maroon, shows an image of Pac-Man, the iconic video game character that’s also known as Pacquiao’s ring moniker, gobbling up a dollar sign – an obvious swipe at Mayweather, who fondly calls himself “Money.”
“What do you think about WBO Champion Manny's t-shirt? Do you like his chances against Mayweather on May 2?,” the WBO tweeted.
However, the said shirt is reportedly said to have been edited.

Regardless of whether the shirt is authentic or not, the hype machine for the much anticipated Mayweather-Pacquiao tussle has started.
Mayweather holds the WBC and WBA welterweight titles, making his May 2 showdown with Pacquiao a unification affair. The Filipino icon will try to deal the undefeated American his first loss after a 47-fight winning streak.
Pacquiao has arrived in the US over the weekend to begin his eight-week training.
