MANILA, Philippines -- One more hometown bet is scheduled to fight in the undercard of the much anticipated UFC Fight Night in Manila headlined by former lightweight champion and current No. 1 ranked featherweight mixed martial artist Frankie “The Answer” Edgar and fellow American Urijah “The California Kid” Faber in a five-round featherweight battle at 145 pounds.

Mark Eddiva, a former Southeast Asian gold medalist and Asian Games bronze medalist in Wushu, will face American Alex White in his bid to get back on the winning track.

Eddiva, a member of Baguio's famous Team Lakay, split his first two fights in the UFC. After an impressive debut in Macau last year, Eddiva lost his second bout at the hands of Brazilian Kevin Souza in an entertgaining slugfest that earned each of them a $50,000 Fight of the Night bonus at UFC Fight Night: Miocic vs Maldonado in Sao Paolo, Brazil last May.

His opponent is also raring to bounce back from two straight losses. The 26-year old White started his UFC career with a knockout win against Estevan Payan but has since lost back-to-back to Lucas Martins and Clay Collard.

Eddiva will join fellow Baguio native Roldan Sangcha-an, who will take on Guam's Jon delos Reyes in a flyweight bout.

Filipino fans are also expecting to see Mark "The Filipino Wrecking Machine" Munoz, who has an upcoming fight next week against Roan Carneiro at UFC 168.

Tickets to the UFC Fight Night Manila: Edgar vs Faber will go on sale starting March 13 at SM Tickets and www.smtickets.com.
