MANILA, Philippines – Former two-time PBA Best Import Arizona Reid will be back in the country soon but no longer for Rain or Shine.

Reid, who led the Painters to the Governors Cup Finals last season, will be playing for a new team according to her new agent Sheryl Reyes.

Reyes, whose roster of imports this conference includes Kia’s PJ Ramos, Talk n Text’s Rich Howell, NLEX’s Al Thornton, Brgy. Ginebra’s Mike Dunigan and GlobaPort’s new import Calvin Lee Wagner, however withheld Reid’s new destination pending official announcement.

“AZ is already sure to come back in the PBA this year. To which team, I am not at liberty to announce it,” Reyes told Philstar.com.

Reid, the reigning MVP in Basketball Belgium League, is currently playing for VOO Wolves Verviers-Pepinster.

The 6-4 power forward averaged 29.1 points, 12.6 rebounds, 3.8 assists and 1.3 steals for Rain or Shine last season en route to winning his second PBA Best Import award.
