MANILA, Philippines -- Kobe Paras had a scintillating 35-point performance against Cantwell-Sacred Heart Cardinals but it was not enough to lift the LA Cathedral Phantoms as they dropped a 66-72 overtime loss on Friday (Saturday Manila time) at home in Los Angeles, California.
Paras waxed hot from the outside sinking six three-pointers and attacked the basket relentlessly. But he ran out of steam in the overtime as he was held down to just two points by the Cardinals' stifling defense.
