Kobe Paras highlights make it to US leading hoops video website

MANILA, Philippines -- Former La Salle Greenies Kobe Paras's stocks in the United States (US) is just growing by the day.

Two days before his team's Los Angeles (LA) Purple Ghosts game against Diego Prep in the "Supremacy Showcase" at the Staples Center, ballislife.com made him a mixtape video  that got the Philippine social media buzzing on Sunday. 

Kobe's mixtape video contains his highlights in the 2014 The League arranged by Compton Magic, one of the top Amateur Athletic Union programs in the US that consistently pumping out prep prospects in the West Coast. 

Kobe Paras was grateful for the feature done on him by the US leading hoops video website which also produced the same mixtapes for current NBA superstars LeBron James and Kevin Durant when they were still prep stars. 

"Blessed to have this mixtape! Thank you @ballislife @compton_magic," Kobe tweeted after the video went viral. 

ballislife.com is America's leading website in providing basketball fans a glimpse of future NBA stars. The 17-year old Kobe, son of the Philippine Basketball Association's only Rookie-MVP Benjie Paras, is rapidly improving under the guidance of Purple Ghosts' coach and Compton Magic director Williams' Middlebrooks.

Middlebrooks was also instrumental on Kobe's recruitment by University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) coach Steve Alford, who likened him to his former combo guard and now Minnesota Timberwolves' rookie Zach LaVine. 

Kobe and the Purple Ghosts are scheduled to play against Diego Prep this Monday at the Staples Center, a few hours before the Los Angeles Clippers host defending NBA champion San Antonio Spurs. Watch Kobe Paras' ballislife.com's mixtape video of him below:
