INCHEON, South Korea – Rookie Matt Rosser-Ganuelas made a solid debut in a Talk n Text uniform as the Tropang Texters routed the Guam national team, 94-66, on Saturday at the University of Guam Gymnasium.

Ganuelas, who came to Talk n Text along with Jay Washington via three-team trade two weeks ago, looked at home with the Tropang Texters.

The fourth overall pick was impressive according to player-agent Sheryl Reyes, who brought the Tropang Texters in Guam in partnership with former actor Bojo Molina, who is now based in the US territory.

"Matt Rosser killed it and the crowd was going crazy with his unpredictable moves," Reyes told Philstar.com.

Ganuelas scored 14 points, including six straight in the second quarter, that kept the Texters in the game.

Veteran forward Danny Seigle led the team with 16 points while Larry Fonacier added 13.

Fonacier, Seigle and KG Canaleta conspired in a telling run in the third to overtake the Guam national team, 67-55, heading into the fourth.

Guam held a seven-point lead, 41-34, at the half until Canaleta caught fire in the third rifling in three triples.

Bong Ravena successfully handled the team in lieu of new head coach Jong Uichico, who did not make the trip due to the 17th Asian Games here.

The friendship game was held for the benefit of Guam Special Olympics.
