San Andres scores another double win

Kenneth San Andres soars to victory in the premier Pro Open category of the NAMSSA National Motocross Series’ fifth leg at the Speedworld MX Circuit, SM Bicutan.

MANILA, Philippines - Kawasaki-JBS Racing Team’s Kenneth San Andres pulled off another twin victories, ruling both the premier Pro Open and Pro 125 categories in Round 5 of the 2014 NAMSSA National Motocross Development Program at the Speedworld MX Circuit, SM Bicutan recently.

After five legs of the series held under the auspices of the National Motorcycle Sports and Safety Association (NAMSSA), San Andres leads both the Pro Open and Pro 125 divisions, zeroing in on another National Rider of the Year crown.

“We’re not about to let up,” said San Andres, the reigning NAMSSA Rider of the Year. “The competition is becoming more intense and the field is improving, so one false move would allow my rivals to pounce.”

San Andres’ father/coach Junjun San Andres won the Veterans’ Class.

The youthful rider is also coming off a sweep of both the Pro Open and Pro 125 categories of the national series’ fourth round.
