MANILA, Philippines - Two teams from La Salle Greenhills posted their second straight victories in the Small Basketeers Philippines (SBP) and the Passerelle contests to lead their groups in the Milo-sponsored, Best Center-organized twin basketball tournaments at the Xavier School gym over the weekend.
La Salle Greenhills-A routed Notre Dame Academy of Greater Manila, 69-32, and gained a share of the SBP-A lead with idle Don Bosco Technical Institute-Makati and Ateneo de Manila-B at 2-0.
Host Xavier-A blasted Ateneo-A, 46-30, to notch its second straight win for a share the Group B lead with Marist School, which humbled LSGH-B, 59-31.
Lourdes School of Mandaluyong routed Lourdes School-QC, 66-21, for its first win in two matches.
In the Passerelle contests, Chiang Kai Shek College (2-0) blasted St. Mary’s College, 85-6, for its second win and the Group A lead.
Adamson thumped Kids’ World Christian Academy, 107-47, to tie Adamson at 1-1.
In Group C, LSGH-A trounced University of Santo Tomas, 69-58, for its second straight win and the lead while Ateneo-B outclassed Don Bosco Technical College, 71-36, for a 1-1 slate.
